🎁 Together with children, we are creating a new brochure about children’s rights. Someone will happily purchase the item you donate through “Alubala,” and the generated funds will support the creation of a brochure dedicated to children’s rights
🤍 You may not be able to become every child’s friend, but you can always become a friend to at least one child — no matter how old you are… 🎨 Starting Sunday, May 31, and continuing for three weeks, an interactive exhibition will welcome visitors at the contemporary art gallery of Cube in Context. ✨ “What brings you joy, happiness, and a smile?” — in response to this question, children of different ages, experiences, abilities, and interests created dozens of artworks to be displayed together in one shared space. 🌈 Their works are filled with all kinds of unexpected worlds: from tangled hairdryers in a mother’s hands, fluffy animals, glowing landscapes, unbelievable adventures, crooked scooters, volleyballs proudly placed on pedestals, shining rainbows, and blazing suns brighter than one another… 💛 Yet most often, and with the greatest pride, children draw love, friendship, kindness, care, attention, and warmth — the kind of warmth that can begin with one sincere smile. 🖼️ The exhibition “When Someone Smiles at Me…” is a multimedia installation that gives young visitors the opportunity to enter into dialogue with existing artworks, add their own drawings, and become co-authors of the exhibition itself. 🎨 Over the course of three weeks, the white walls of the exhibition space will continuously fill with colorful new images, which will later become part of a children’s interpretation of the Convention brochure and be shared publicly. 🌿 For adults, the exhibition becomes a reflection on all the possible ways meaningful and friendly connections with children can begin through creative collaboration. 📚 To encourage reflection on children’s rights and support the creation of the creative brochure, every citizen can participate through Cube’s partner charity platform “Alubala” by donating personal items. 🤝 Friendship with children of different ages, experiences, abilities, and interests — along with creatively spending time together in Mziuri Children’s Town — will continue throughout the year. Both children and adults will equally have the opportunity to join the process and make new friends. 🧒 The exhibition will also feature artworks created by children from World Vision Georgia. ✨ The exhibition is organized as part of the annual “Children’s Day Celebration” by Cube in Context, held this year in collaboration with the social platform “Light Mandala” and the charity foundation “Alubala,” with the support of World Vision Georgia
